2010 Wings Over Whiteman Air Show
and Open House - September 18th-19th, 2010

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, MISSOURI - Whiteman AFB is “celebrating 100 years of military aviation” and opening its gates to the public for the 2010 Wings over Whiteman Air Show and Open House Sept. 18 and 19! It will be the largest air show in Central Missouri this year with headliners such as the USAF Thunderbirds and Army Golden Knights Aerial Demonstration teams, the B-2, FIFI the last flying B-29 Superfortress and many more! The American public will once again have an opportunity to view the world's premier weapon system, the B-2 Spirit, the workhouse of the United States military, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the Apache UH-64 and a host of many more military and civilian aircraft.


"It's my pleasure to invite the public to attend Wings Over Whiteman 2010 to get an up close and personal look at the professional personnel and capabilities that help our Airmen carry out mission's across the globe," said Brig Gen Robert Wheeler. "This year's headliners, the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and Army Golden Knights, are set to deliver killer performances designed to showcase the way we fly and fight. This event is dedicated to the local community and the support and partnerships that enable each of us to serve to the best of our abilities on a daily basis."


The gates open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The event is free and open to the general public! There will be something for everyone at this year’s Wings Over Whiteman, we hope to see you there!
